After graduating from Highland, I spent the next 5 years going to The University of Victoria to get my Bachelor Of Education Degree. During my 3rd year at U.Vic. I met my husband Scott. We got married the year I graduated from U.Vic in 1993. We returned back to the Comox Valley in hopes I could get a teaching job. I subbed for 1 year & then I fortunately got my foot in the door with temporary contracts. After 1 year of teaching at Courtenay Elem., & 1 year at Puntledge Park Elem., we had our first daughter Karley. My life was well balanced, with work & family for the next 4 years before our 2nd daughter Kristyn arrived. The time just flies by now. It's hard to believe my girls are now 11, and 6, and now I'm even getting grey hair! I'm still teaching at Puntledge Park Elem. It's my 12th year there. My World is very busy, & even crazy at times, but I'm loving it!
