History since graduation:
In 1972 Concordia Secondary Labratory School in Seward closed. Wow, Had to find a new school for the senior year. That turned out to be a blessing because we met some great people joining the St. Paul's family.
Graduating from SPCH led to me staying at St. Paul's Jr College. I was part of the SPC 75 class but graduated Dec. 74. After 2 years at Concordia Seward I graduated with a teaching degree Dec. 76. I student taught with Randy Muench who was part of the CSLS class that finished their senior year at SPCH.
I stayed in Seward for the spring term. On April 2,1977 I married Janice Cornwell. We were friends at St. Paul's but didn't date till we were in college at Seward. I worked on the Rocker Bros. shorthorn farm and Jan worked at the Country Club.
In August of 1977 we took a call to Redeemer Lutheran School in Denver CO. I taught Jr High and Jan taught P-K & K. Five years later I was made principal and Jan gave birth to our dughter Jamie.
In 1985 we moved to Alma, NE where I taught 6th grade and Jan gave birth to out son Joel.
In June of 1986 all four of us moved back to the Endorf family farm. We have been in Tobias for 23 years. When Joel was school age Jan returned to teaching P-K & K at Zion Lutheran school at Tobias.
Our children have made us "empty nesters". Jamie is in her fourth year of teaching Spanish at Metro East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville, IL. Joel is in his first year as an admissions counselor at Concordia University in Seward where they both graduated from.
A final highlight of our 23 years on the farm. On July 23, 2004 a cancerous brain tumor the size of a ping pong ball was removed from my brain. Our reunion at St. Paul's will mark 5 years of clean MRIs. TO GOD GIVE THE GLORY!
