This is to thank Jim Frerking and Glen Endorf. While I certainly don't represent the Class of 74, I think I am representative, and hey............. this is fun. The website gets a thumbs up. Kind of a golden opportunity to reconnect even before the big wingding in July and a day brightener in the midst of winter.

C'mon guys................... sign up. You know you want to..................

Come on you class of '74. Even if you can't see yourself coming back to campus share with the rest of us what's happened since you were there. Its not about bragging or anything its just a chance to celebrate the many ways God takes and uses people in the 35 years since we graduated.
By the way it was great to see some of you in St. Louis in early Feb. I enjoyed that night a lot.

Golly I had a nice time in St. Louis. And Harv and Dennis! Your genuine goodness came shining through in such a natural way that maybe wasn't surprising, but other than that the years just kind of melted away.

Harvey is right - July will be great, but if you can't/won't be there, then there is genuine interest about each and every one of you that has yet to submit at least a basic outline of what it is you've been doing the past 35 years.

Terrific job on the website! As classmates, you can remember who you graduated with. But for the faculty, everyone just blends together! Thanks again for the updates...

Hey everyone! Friday the 24th will be a Biffles barbacue at South park.(I have most peoples intent for this meal but it never hurts to make sure.) Also your favorite Bottle Beer, wine cooler, wine or soda could be made available at the park. Let me know! Sat. breakfast ($5:75), Lunch ($7:00) & Supper ($10:00) as well as Sunday breakfast will be on campus. If you give me an idea of what meals you plan to eat with everyone on campus let me know and I'll put the order in. If we have enough for food service. Praying that this will all fall together and that you are all doing well! Glen Endorf gejjj03@diodecom.net
Also remember that rooms on campus are reserved though Pastor Loeber at the alumni website

Sorry, but life happens sometimes and I'm really sorry I won't be able to attend the reunion this year. It would be great to see many (but not all... ;-) of you again.
The '73 HS yearbook is great and brings back many memories.

What an awesome reunion. For those of you who could not attend, none of us has aged at all!!!! It was amazing! It was truly a relaxing and enjoyable time to reminisce and catch up with the current "events" in our lives.
Thanks to Glen for all of his efforts to pull it together. I was reminded again how blessed my life has been to have such wonderful friends. Keep in touch!

What a week-end!!!! How great to see all who came. Vanessa-where did you go? You vanished after breakfast. It was disappointing. I was looking forward to talking with you. Hope all is well!

Church was amazing this am!! The congregation even clapped! (almost fell out of the pew). The sermon was wonderful! Looks like some changes have happened & for the good. I also had the chance to worship with some very special people (4 couples who have been married a long time). In ways it made me sad--I'm not part of that group. My dream was to be married ONCE! What a reality check!! However--I felt so much gratitude seeing these couples together & seeing the "special" bond between them. It's obvious it's genuine! My heart was filled with joy seeing Steve & Sue (Theis) worshipping together. Pastors don't get that chance very often.
I did not feel out of place with them--the situation just stirred up some pretty strong feelings.

I think it's great how God is in control. Walking toward church Glen, Jan & myself wondered if Topsy's was open on Sun.. During the sermon we received our answer.
The pastor made some reference about people being at Topsy's on Sun.. Glen & I looked at each other & grinned:)
It was GREAT!!!

A HUGE grin has been on my face a "few" times thinking about how KEITH Z. is from Concordia & missed the turn into the truck stop. (how fun to be able to laugh at ourselves)

I feel such a stronger connection now to those that came.
THANK-YOU!

GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL-ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Stephanie

Jo and I got back home yesterday evening after taking a slow, back road tour through south MO, north AR and MS and down the west side of AL. Only saw about 5 miles of interstate! It was great! But the weekend was even better. Thanks again Glen for deciding (or being asked to decide) that we all needed to get together. I hope everyone had as much fun as Jo and I. Josine told me she quickly felt right at home with all these "strangers", and had a great time.

Yeah, Topsys was open Sunday, and had a really nice breakfast buffet (mmmmmm, bacon).

Steph, let them pave between Heilman and Moeller. Leave the quad clean and green!

Again, great to see all of you. And for those who couldn't make it, I hope we get together again in the not too distant future.

God bless

I totally agree with parking issue on campus. It would really ruin the quad if they paved it. I think we should all take a stand with this one and let them know how we feel. I am not sure when this is suppose to happen but it's not to early to campaign against it.

Hey Everyone--

Regarding the quad. Cathy Koncilia received an e-mail from Walter Loeber. The one to contact is Paul Mehl-he's the one who oversees that type of issue. His e-mail is: pmehl@splhs.org . I've already sent him a note stating my thoughts. PLEASE, DO NOT PAVE the quad!
Yes, I was nice. If you agree please let him know & spread the word to other alumni.

I've attended the church where Mike & Sylvia Bronner are. Very friendly--felt right at home. You should have seen Mike's face when he saw me! He had just started the sermon, saw me, stopped abruptly & broke out into a huge smile!! It was GREAT!!

Haven't been to Steve Theis' church YET--the time WILL come.

It was soooooooooooo fun to see those who attended. The ones who couldn't get there this time had better make it next time. What a relaxing week-end! Biltz is beautiful!

I pray they find a different place for parking.

The quad can't be ruined!!!!!!!!!!

God's Blessings!

Roger Gliedt (Spc Class Of '75) (1975)

Roger and I were both very disappointed we were not able to attend the reunion. Roger's mom decided to have the first Gliedt reunion the very same weekend. Said we could still go but would have really felt guilty. Would really like to know how many and who were able to make it. Would really like to see everybody.

For those of you who knew Keith Christiansen our first year in college in 74.....He is doing well. He was our pastor for several years in Freistatt, MO before he went to SPH. See him quite often. He will be coming to Springdale, AR on Jan 13 if anyone has any messages for him.

Have had some problems with my sign-in. Jim told me what to do but have not had time......If anyone would like to send me a note (hint, hint!!) do it through Roger's name till I take the time to straighten it out. Miss all of you..... Bird and Rupert.
