My niece Meagan Carlton is a Judson student-athlete

After High School, I attended Texas Lutheran College and played varsity football and volleyball. After graduation, I taught school and coached football at Sanderson High School, Samuel Clemens High School and Kitty Hawk Jr. High. I entered Baylor Law School in 1988 and graduated with my law degree in 1990. I moved to Houston and worked for two private law firms before moving to an in-house position with a technology services company in 1994. I have now worked for software companies and technology services companies in the Houston area for 15 years and been the General Counsel for three public companies. I am currently starting my own practice supporting small to mid-size technology companies. I have been married for 12 years and have an 11 year old daughter. I coach my daughter's softball team and play softball on the weekend.

I read a lot. Mostly historical and religious thrillers, theology and philosophy, general histories regarding religious conflict. I also coach my daughter's softball team and will begin coaching her volleyball in the Fall. I still play competitive softball despite two arthritic knees. I am also commissioner of a 24 team fantasy baseball league started in 1991.
