Obituary for Terri Preston
Preston, Terri,
age 71 of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully August 12, 2026.
Preceded in death by husband Dennis. Survived and missed by children Missy Preston (Jim), Tami Serna, Lisa Huston (Lance), Denise Preston, Colleen Herlofsky (Jason), grandchildren Justin, Ashlyn, Michael, Alex, Alec, Oliver, Morgan, Dillon, Faith, and Chase, brothers Tom Anderson and Doug Anderson, long-time friend Lisa Hennen, and her extended family.
Terri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She especially embraced her role as a dance mom and dance grandma, rarely missing an opportunity to be in the audience, backstage, or wherever her family needed her. She was their biggest cheerleader and loved nothing more than watching them do what they loved. She found great joy in square dancing where music and friendship came together. She also loved camping, geocaching, and spending time outdoors, creating memories around the campfire, and enjoying time with people she loved. Those who knew her will remember not only the things she did, but the way she made people feel.

Terri, you had a smile for everyone. Thank you sharing your journey with me so that I could help others going through similar journeys. You are missed and forever loved, my friend.

I will miss your always smiling face and kind word for everyone. I'm so glad we spent time together over the past few weeks but it was too quickly gone. You are singing with angels now, Denny by your side, and your world is hopefully blessed and peaceful. Rest in love Terri. 💜>
