Hello, Classmates!
As we’ve entered 2026, we have, thankfully, experienced one more orbit around the sun.
We hope that this year is off to a great start and that you are all as well as you can be and are enjoying life.
The reunion committee has been meeting biannually since our 50th reunion of 2023, which was a wonderful success. We look forward to our next reunion in 2028. This will be not only the 55th anniversary of our graduation from Coon Rapids Senior High School, but it marks the year 1955 as the year in which most of us were born. It also means that for those of us born in 1955, it will be our 73rd birthday in 2028! Even more reason to celebrate!
We sure have seen a lot of change since our youth. Gone are telephone party lines, black and white television, the neighborhood milkman, paper routes, wind up alarm clocks, corded wall phones, and bench seats in cars (which was handy for sitting close on dates).
One thing that has not changed is our commitment to keeping in touch with you and in providing opportunities for us to get together as classmates and friends. We are currently planning a “Get Together” for this fall, with a tentative location of The Shortstop; details will be provided soon.
Also, as in past years, the city of Coon Rapids has a great July 4th Celebration, including an All School Reunion, see details below.
