In 2001, I received a call from a lady stating that her son had found my High School Class ring and would like return it to me.
I lost my class ring in 1973 at the Crooked Lake beach in the sand I guess.
The funny part is that my wife, Cindy, worked in the counselor’s office as the DMC, when this lady came into the office asking for the 1973 yearbook.
You see, I had my initials engraved on the inside of my ring and there was only 2 of us that year with those initials.
The ring was cut so the boy that had the ring could squeeze it down to fit his finger.
I took the ring the the Jewelry shop and it only costed me $10 to have it ring fixed.
I wear it now almost every day
