Robert and I had attended summer camp together. I knew his mom and dad. I ran into him once after graduation, and he had looked like he had put on tremendous amount of muscle. He looked good. May he rest in peace.

Rob was my best friend. Was in Pembroke Lakes Elementary, Pines Middle, Cooper city High, BCC together. Remember he had gotten his moms burgandy olds car and tinted the windows, put that local motion sticker on the window. He later had gotten that blue Honda Crx which he put like 100,000 miles in 3 years driving to coconut grove and ft. lauderdale. He was a big fan of the old MTV. No commercials just video! Went to alot of concerts. Was a real rebel, the jew marked his arm with a tatoo of a panther. He was the co-founder of KKK Kosher Kids Klan "Rabbi Rob". Although his time here was short, he tuely will be missed.

I remember him and am curious as to what happened to him. I was saddened to see him on this list. I am saddened to see Cristina Benitez, anyone know what happened to her, Scott Adams, Scott Bruno, Cari Evans.

Merrick, could you put something together, a slideshow of pictures, maybe a memorial book that we can all sign and jot down our memories, a moment of silence at the reunion. Just because they are no longer with us does not mean they won't be there!!! Just an idea.

Janet, It truely was tragic news coming from his Mom Arlene the frantic voice "Rob is Dead, Rob is Dead". They need to make a correction in that the year was 1996 when he passed and went to another journey in life. I was one of his long time closest friends and had just seen him two nights before his passing. Was depressed with folks not accepting him dating a black lady, to boot he was very annoyed that his hair line a patch where getting thin. Still he was a rebel. Getting a Pather tatoo on his arm (being Jewish) and no marks on self is a big thing. He went to help his Aunt move in Century Village on the 3rd floor and was argueing with his Mom when He just wanted some attention from her. Ran out the door and jump and held on to the rail figuring it would scare his Mom. He lost his grip and fell. After his death I took care of his Mom with parkins disease until she to had passed and was burried in Menorah Gardens on Griffen and US-27.
Funny story that was a little ironic. We would go to the Publix on 136 ave and pull up to the older people and say that the trolly lolly which is this little van that transports them back from Publix where they ordered 22 cents of Ham individually wrapped for there sandwich so they get to go out the next day. Well we would come up and say the trolly is not coming it had a flat up the road. One day, true story we offered to help after making up the trolly break down, we would take you over there. Loading up him and his bag and driving offroad scarring him half to death.

Shim-da-Bow He loved that saying.

Marty-

Funny how you remember things once somebody starts talking about things. My brother, Joe Cejka, is a Parametic/fireman in Pines and had responded to the call. I remember him talking about this when it first happened. I never put the two together till you recanted the story. That is so f'd up.

Wow! I can't believe it!! I mean I know that I a\have been out of touch but I guess it never really dawned on me that anyone had passed away. I am truly saddened to hear of all of our classmates deaths and agree with Janet that we should have a short memorail slideshow or something for them. Nothing morbid or morose, but something to celebrate their lives.

Thanks Web Master for Making it 1996. I go see him and his Mom alot. There plots are not to far from my Mother that recently past away from cancer.

Yes, Debbie we should have a tribute for the fallen. Maybe we can pass out matzo or bagels and hold them up in the air for him.

Rob Solomon 1971-1996 Shim da bow!

Wow, Marty, you can even make a tragic story, funny. How upsetting to hear how he passed. I am sure that was very difficult for his mother, (and you). You are a great guy to have helped take care of his mother, until her passing. That is what you call a TRUE FRIEND!!!!!
