J. Megan Booth Murphy

After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Washington in Seattle for one year. I then transferred to Gonzaga University where I met my future husband. I graduated from Gonzaga in 2004 with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Religious Studies. After graduation, Bill and I moved to Bend, Oregon.

Bill and I adopted a chocolate lab mix puppy in early 2006. We named him Crosby, after Bing Crosby who attended Gonzaga. We were married on June 24, 2006.

I then began graduate school at Eastern Oregon University (while living in Bend) and graduated in 2008 with a Master's in Teacher Education. This past year I completed a Special Education Endorsement program through Lewis & Clark College. I just graduated (2009), and am glad to be done with school...for a while!

Bill has recently changed his career path from Education to EMT/Firefighter, and is currently attending school. We are expecting our first child in late Winter 2010!
