I want to take a moment and say thank you to those of our classmates who want to preserve and dedicate a space on our website to those who have left us.
It has been brought to my attention that our 'In Memory' Page didn't work unless the Deceased Alumni was first added to our classmate profiles. With that corrected you can now select the classmates name from the drop down list to create a memory wall where other classmates can share obituaries, pictures, memories and thoughts with each other.
Please leave a comment here for anyone I might have missed so that we leave no one behind...
Whew! With some quick reaction time from committee members, we put our heads together and came up with a plan. Our evening mixer is saved! We will announce the details once money has finished changing hands. All in hand should be about a week!
So here is where we currently stand. (I'll update this post as the number changes!)
39 classmates and their guests have RSVP'd for the evening event. We know some of you are waiting to the last minute but seriously do us a favor and let us know if you are coming. It's the difference between renting a photo booth for 2 or 3 hours... a live dj or a music recording.
Especially when you consider that a couple of your classmates have donated their hard earned cash to help make this a free and enjoyable event! That's right. Even with the extras we are moving forward because of classmates who care to make this a memorable evening and who have done their part in reaching out to the organizers and taken some of the stress off our backs by making sure the money is in hand. THANK YOU!
So here is where we currently stand:
*43 Classmates and their guests have RSVP'd for the Evening Mixer
Keep in mind if you RSVP by the 31st you can still get in on the early bird price!
*13 classmates and their guests (not including kids) have RSVP'd for the Family Park Event.
*44 classmates and their guests have RSVP'd for the school tour.

Based on our Facebook RSVP and our registration onsite;
we have about 60 people indicating that they will attend and about 40 who may have a better idea once we get closer to the date.
From our combined survey results
1) There is an interest in a tour of the school!
2) An interest in a swim party at the park for a family fun day...
3) An adult evening at a restaurant +Ale House was suggested, but our origional point of contact moved over to the Dead Fish Grill aka Frank's Lakehouse...(Also it was suggested we look into the Chill Grill in Killeen. Adding those options to the Facebook event.)
I mentioned on Facebook that living overseas makes it difficult to iron out details or get in touch with people. I would appreciate anyone who is stateside who can check in once a week, and especially if they are in the area, to join the committee!
I need people will will take point for any of the above main events.
I would like someone to make a graphic design we can use to upload for t-shirt designs or signs.
I need help with making memorbillias! Do we want a Reunion book or Magazine? T-shirts, Mugs, Magnets?
I also need someone who can contact CCHS Alumni and the local newspapers to announce the event in March/April/May.
I've added all the options from my notes inside this Facebook group but we need to decide and act on a couple of details; Reunion Planning Committee
