Warren and I met early on in my career at WPLG and became fast friends. I didn't realize until Stuart's comment that he was a Gables grad. Had I known, there would have been substantially more interaction on my part!
One of the greatest photographers - gone FAR too soon - and leaving the rest of us a little worse for his passing.
Buck and I were the not-so-swift 2nd and 3rd legs of the 440 relay in eight and ninth grade at South Miami Junior High. We became life-long friends and it was generational. Many years later his daughter Megan and my son Patrick became good friends thru middle school, high school college and beyond.

Warren was the nicest person you would ever want to meet.
:"Bucky" as he was affectionately called his entire life, and I met
in fourth grade and were lifelong friends. He had a great family and was
a distinguished photojournalist -- one of the most talented in the nation.
I miss him every day.
