You know, you find the greatest gifts when you least expect it, and the greatest gifts of my lifetime I found in Los Angeles the summer after I graduated college. I won't bore you with all the details, but I was in LA, working as middle school teacher when I got reconnected with Lewis Hinojosa.
You probably know Lewis and his rather large family (the Hinojosas...Stephen, Danny, Lenny, Andrea, Sylvia, and Eddie).
Lewis and I have been together for fifteen years now, and married for 4 in November. Nope, no kids. I think we are simply enjoying life and delaying having to grow up.
In that time, Lewis earned his Bachelor's in Financial Accounting. I pursued my Masters in Business Administration. Lewis continues in his studies...now enrolled in an teacher's preparatory program. Awww, my Honey is gonna be a teacher!!! Awesome!
We've lived in California, Connecticut, Florida, and now Texas, but lately he has been talking about returning to a part of the country where it snows. He admits to missing the fun that comes with digging out our vehicles after a snow storm. Hmmm, not sure how I feel about that. I like being close to home and being able to return to Corpus once a month to see my parents.
Lewis has been a manager with Lowe's Companies, Inc. for 10 years. I left Lowe's after 9 years and now work with Ross Dress for Less.
We were thinking about scanning a picture of us, but decided that it would much much more fun for us to show up at reunion and have people try to figure out who we are. Ha!
