I'm a member of Ray Class of '58, but had many friends in class of '59. I left Corpus to attend the University of Houston, BBA 1964. Retired Human Resources Manager several large oil related companies in Houston. Would enjoy visiting with anyone in class of '59 who may have known me.

School Story:

Our family moved to Corpus in July, 1955 from Tulsa, OK. Had to make friends and enjoyed Ray Hi a lot. Friends were Ed Ettel, Marshall Passmore, Johnny Ben Harris, and many more. Our 50th reunion in Oct. 2008 was tremendous. Girlfriend was Polly Kaufman..perfect girlfriend.

My first car was a '50 Packard..ugly green, then really cool '51 Ford Victoria..baby blue w/pipes, fender skirts, and leaded hood.

Anna was a very nice & soft spoken as a young coed at Del Mar. With her date, we would double date many times going to football games and eating spots in and around Corpus. She was always a pleasure to be around.

Polly was my first girlfriend. We went "steady" my junior and senior years. I was a member of Ray, class of '58. We enjoyed going out on the Gulf Clipper, dancing at Moravian Hall, going to movies, listening to records of singers of that time and hanging out at Picks on Ayres, and taking long walks. One of her best atributes was never complaining about getting into my very ugly green 1950 Packard...my first car, to go somewhere. If I wanted to see her on Sunday evenings, I had to take her to her Church of the Good Shepherd.

I will never forget her companionship and the fun she brought into my life during the years we were boyfriend and girlfriend.
