At the recent reunion I learned that our classmate Lee had died last year:
Corpus Christi - Lee John Govatos, an architectural historian, leading authority and advocate for the old Nueces County courthouse, and one of Corpus Christi ISD's most beloved substitute teachers, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, of complications from Parkinson's. He was 80. (complete obituary online)
