Walter Theis, born September 1,1941, died September 14, 2016
Walter was a lawyer, and he never really retired.
He had been in declinig health for the last three years of his life with complications, from Lung cancer, and Kidney failure.
Walter is survived, by two sons, Jason and Aaron; daughter Caitlyn

I probably knew Walter better than anyone the past 7 years. He never retired as an attorney and was active until April of this year. He was a true, rabid, conservative in his political views. I knew his two sons, Jason and Aaron, and had spoken to his daughter, Caitlyn Spriggs on the telephone. Walter had been in serious declining health the past three years. His kidneys failed 3 years ago and he was on dialysis. His vision also failed about 18 months ago and although he could see, he was legally blind and could not drive. I talked to him at 10 AM on Wednesday , Sept 14 and wished him well on his journey. He died that afternoon about 5 PM.

Recall Walter from school days. Crossed paths with him a couple of times as lawyers. Fine man, good lawyer. Like so many, wish I'd kept up with him. Appreciated Robert Lang's thoughtful comments.

I am so sad to hear of Walter's passing. He was a friend in High School. I was fortunate to visit with him in our 2009 Reunion.
