School Story:

Met Marta at SMU Law School, early summer l963. SMU invited top grads from law schools around the world to take a Masters in Comparative Law. Marta was head of her class at Argentina's National Law School, and it was my great good fortune to meet her the first day she arrived at SMU. She completed her Masters the following spring, and returned to Argentina, for practice with her father, Dr. Jose Angulo, a retired judge and practicing lawyer. She authoried several papers on commercial law, and was an assistant law professor to Dr. Zavala Rodriquez, Head of Commercial Law at Argentina's National Law School, University of Buenos Aires. Dr. Rodriquez was also a member of the Argentine Supreme Court.
We married two years later in Buenos Aires.

All of this is a very good read. Really enjoyed a wonderful success story. Thank you. Your kids obviously had good genes going for them, but you and Marta's leadership and parenting skills were suredly more important. I know how proud you both must be. Marta certainly deserves all the accolades for her many accomplishments as well. I also appreciate the way you edified her the way you did; that says a lot about you as well. We don't hear enough edification of spouses, family, and even friends these days.
Stay healthy my friend of more than 70 years, and I hope to see you at the next reunion.

Knew "Whity" from Sam Houston days and the old neighborhood.  Seems not so long ago. Jerry was one of the "guys" and a good one at that.  Will be missed by all who knew him then, and after.  Regards to his family.

Recall Walter from school days. Crossed paths with him a couple of times as lawyers.  Fine man,  good lawyer. Like so many, wish I'd kept up with him.  Appreciated Robert Lang's thoughtful comments.

I recall Jerry as a kind and pleasant classmate. Very impressive list of accomplishments and recognitions - not surprising considering his early showing of great and sensitive talent.  Regret I did not keep up with him after Ray High days. My sympathies to Jerry's family and many friends.

I have no recollection of looking like the kid at left.
Nonetheless, I'm in on the 55th. Might do "special job", particularly as date approaches.
Still sitting as a visiting judge, mostly in the valley. Four kids, eight grandkids, around Texas, that Marta and I visit regularly. Sail some, like every day it's not blowing 20plue.
Marta, takes very good care of me - 48 years worth, now.
Regards to all.
