Tommy was one of the sweetest guys I ever met. It is just sometimes too sad to think of such a wonderful individual being gone. God bless him and I know he is with his Savior.

I knew Tommy since the 7th grade at Wynn Seale. We shared homerooms and classes together. After high school we always kept up with each other. He and Joann are very special people to me. When I was in bad health, he would call me every few weeks just to check on my well being.
I was honored to serve as a pall bearer at his funeral along with Jimmy Ashworth. It was such a shock losing him and I know that he is at peace with the world.

He always called Joann his little country german girl and they lived out in the country out of Yorktown. We have made Joann an honorary class member and invite her to our reunions.

I always thought of Tommie as a real "hunk", in a manly way. The quintessential example of a guy from the 50s. He could play and be great at any sport. I was always glad to have played some softball on a church team with him and he was a great role model for others. Glad I knew him. He is missed. He always had the best-looking girls around and he married the best of the best. JIM GLENN

I knew Tommy since elementary school at St. Elizabeth Street School, Wynn Seale and W. B. Ray.  Although these are belated comments regarding Tommy, you could not say enough nice things about him.   He was nice to everyone and a most un-pretentious guy, you could have as a friend.   He was a very handsome guy and had so many girls chasing after him, and I just remarking about the 4th grade.   Fonzie could have learned some things about how to handle yourself at such a young age.  It was just an honor to have known Tommy.  He was such a man that could command respect.   Miss you, Tom,  We could use more men like you.

Like Frank Matta, I too went to Elizabeth St. school.  In the second grade our teacher, Miss Monger, would have to recue Tommy every day at recess.  We would all chase him trying to kiss him.  I remember he ran for his life and no one ever caught him.  Great memories.  Gone too soon.
