I graduated from OSU in 1973 in Community Health. I met my future husband, Dyke C Mace, on a blind date at OSU. We were married May 3, 1974. (He died in a car accident on July 23, 2005.)We moved to Pendleton where my husband worked for the Umatilla Health Dept and I worked for the OSU Extension Service. We moved to McMinnville 1976. I got my MEd from WOSC and taught Special Education for McMinnville School District for 24 years, retiring in 2015. I now live in Hillsboro near all three of my children. I have five grandchildren ranging in age from 2 months to 22 years. (As of 7/2022).
