Dear 1969 CMHS Friends,
Over forty people have signed up for our Saturday night event at the Acapulco Restaurant! We are excited to see you and will miss those of you who wrote with regrets!
An email will be forthcoming with a list of attendees.
And you can still register here! We have asked that reservations please be made by August 20th so we can know numbers and finalize plans with the restaurant.
Expect to receive a separate email for each of our events with specific last minute details the week prior the reunion. Here’s an updated overview of all five events:
REUNION 55 FIESTA
Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8, 2024
Friday, 3 – 5:30 pm Beach Party and Picnic: Corona Del Mar Beach with accessible walks, inexpensive parking adjacent to beach. Bring your own food and drink, no alcohol allowed on beach; we will provide the fun! We will provide some chairs and towels for seating.
Friday evening (7 pm, meet at 6:30 pm): Costa Mesa High School football game, no charge, you are a CMHS guest! Come and sit with us and our Costa Mesa High School Class of 1969 Alumni banner, kindly provided by Anne Saurwein Davis and Terri Tork! We’ll be recognized during the game and want you there! The school wants a list of names, so please register here.

Saturday Morning (10 am?? Still confirming): Tour of Costa Mesa High School
Saturday Evening, 6-9 pm: Gather for dinner and socializing! There will be a Taco Bar Buffet Dinner with delicious options for all, including nonalcoholic drinks. (You can order wine, beer, etc from bar.) We’ll have the patio to ourselves, complete with music, a commemorative video, laughs and good times reconnecting! DO COME!

Sunday Morning, beginning 11 am: Picnic at TeWinkle Park, Costa Mesa. Bring your own lunch and enjoy some last conversations with classmates before heading home!
