What's your initial reaction to a 55th reunion? No commitment here, but this information helps us with planning. THANK YOU!

I would not miss it if at all possible!
It sounds good, but I will have to see how things are closer to the date.
I am in between about coming. I'd be more likely to come if.....(Feel free to share by hitting "Contact Us" tab!)
I am not likely to come, but hope you have a good turnout and a lot of fun!

Costa Mesa High School
Class of 1969

Dear 1969 CMHS Friends,

We don't know whether to marvel that five years have passed since our fancy 50th reunion or that 55 years have passed since we left CMHS---or both!  Time does fly!

Our 55th reunion will be considerably simpler (and less expensive) than our last one, but no less rich with the renewal of old friendships.  If you still have your nametag lanyard from the 50th, dig it out!

Plans are still formulating but the dates are set, so here is a SAVE THE DATE (please!) notice:

Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8, 2024

Schedule (that may still have a few tweaks such as exact times, but again, dates and basic outline IS set):

REUNION 55 FIESTA

Friday Mid-Afternoon Beach Party and Picnic:  Most likely Corona with accessible walks and a firepit.  Bring your own picnic and drinks; we'll supply the fun!

Saturday Morning:  Tour of Costa Mesa High School, viewing of the commemorative bricks donated via a collection at our 50th  (Tour to be confirmed)

Saturday Evening:   Gather for dinner and socializing

       ACAPULCO RESTAURANT & CANTINA

1262 Bristol Street

      Costa Mesa, CA  92626

We are still working out the food details on this restaurant.  Info coming!

Sunday Morning, informal, on-your-own:  Opportunity for individuals to "get together for breakfast" or perhaps some of us might want to go "back to the beach to the firepit or for a walk" for more catching up with old friends?  Or......???

The Class of 1969 is Mighty Fine!  Please be watching for further information from us, but in the meantime, please mark this on your calendar!  We look forward to seeing you!

Warm regards,

Your  55th Reunion Team:

Anne (Saurwein) Davis, Terri Tork, Joyce (Steinbacher) Marcarelli, Jim Wade, Mike Woodard, Greg Forsdick, Ginger (Albee) Storey-Welch

Welcome, CMHS Class of '69 grads!
