Janet was such a bright light in high school.  I remember her always with a smile...........sad she is not able to be with us at the reunion.......

Who didn't like Janet?  She was so very kind, and always ready to cheer you up when things weren't going well.  She had a perspective on life that was way beyond her years.  She was beautiful and smart and hard working.  She was everything I wanted to be when I grew up!  The 50th reunion will be a little dimmer without her.

I first met Janet in the 5th grade at Fairview Elementary (now called College Park). She was so outgoing and fun and everyone loved her. Our paths didn't cross much in high school, but she always had a warm smile and a wonderful way about her. Janet left us way too soon.

When my mother sent me an obituary notice about Janet's death, I couldn't believe it. She was too young, married with young children. She had been like sunshine in high school, always that bright smile with laughing eyes, buoyant, and she stepped right up if anyone needed help. She was in the middle of her life and though we had not kept up with each other after high school I was sure she could not possibly be done and I miss her.
