"Decent" is the word that comes to mind when I think of Andy back in high school.  I was sad to hear we'd lost him.  I know he must be missed every day by his loved ones, and he will be missed at the reunion as well.

I knew Andy as far back as 7th grade at St. John the Baptist School.  He was pretty quiet and I remember he lived right behind the school and could wait for the bell to ring the first ring so he could run over and not be late! I don’t think we had any classes together at Mesa but he was always very friendly and kind.  Andy will be missed.  I was very sad to hear we wouldn’t see him at our reunion..

Andy is one of the people and faces that sticks in my mind. I didn't remember that we'd been at St. John the Baptist--thanks for reminding me, Anne, as there are a lot of us! I recall Andy as being a really good athlete, especially baseball. Sad that he's passed, but grand that he's remembered by many. Mike Woodard

Andy and I played baseball together for two years.  Had I not moved across Harbor Blvd I would have played all four years with him and I really missed that.  He batted left handed and was a good player.  His team mates often called him "Counter Top" but I'm not sure why.  Knowing he is gone is truly sad but we'll always be friends.
