I enlisted in the Air Force in 2001, became a Jet engine mechanic and was stationed at Edwards AFB in California. Met my husband Jalon there, we both were engine mechanics. We married in 2004 and then got orders to Offutt AFB, Nebraska in 2005. Had our son in 2007 and I finally talked him into living in Minnesota and we decided to get out of the military. I had orders to Korea for year without my husband and newborn son, so it was time to be done.
I talked him into having 4 seasons, took me awhile, he was too used to his Arizona sun. I missed my 4 seasons, I hated having all that sun in California, so I didn't really want to live in it forever in Arizona.
We are currently living in Cottage Grove. Not liking it that much and we're thinking of moving out to Lindstrom, buy some land near the water. We like to collect cars and need our space for the toys we want to buy (quads, motorhome, and maybe a boat one day). We're both outdoor people and like to spend as much time as possible outside.
Right now, I'm a stay at home Mom. I don't like it, I love being with my son, but I miss work and making money. I'm a full time student at Inver Hills getting my Paralegal degree/certificate and I start my internship this summer.
Not too exciting but it's my life, and so far, I'm loving every minute of it!
