Retired on June 1st, 2006, after working for 44 years in the Newton County Probate Court. It took Mrs. Brooks a month to talk me into going to the Courthouse to talk to Judge Donald Stephenson. I worked for Donald Stephenson for 15 years, and Judge Henry Baker, our Classmate, until retirement. It had to be the best job ever, with the two best bosses ever. I am now enjoying my grandchildren, Dustin, born 1983, Alexandra, born 1992, Dylan, born 1996, Paul-Thomas, born 1996, Caroline, born 2004, and my great-grandchildren, Savannah, born 2006, Bonham, born 2014, Preston, born 2017, Arya, born 2019, Vida, born 2020.
