Carol Hitchcock was such a delight! We became friends in high school and she would often give me a ride home. Her wide, happy smile reminded me of another Carol, Carol Channing, and it made you feel good just to see her. I also greatly enjoyed her gentle, self depreciating sense of humor. She will be missed.
