Penny Parish Windham

I've been trying to think what has and hasn't happened since I last updated my profile. I guess under "hasn't"; I haven't won the lottery yet, haven't run a marathon and I'm not expecting.

We have been on another camping trip staying closer to home this time. We spent a week in Panama City in October. Also, Jim has always been a very active volunteer with the community and a few months ago he decided to scale back some. I was waiting by the door when he got home with a list of projects I've wanted done. He just finished ripping up the old carpet and putting down a pretty hardwood floor in the dining room. Next, he re-grouted all the bathroom tile with epoxy and we have cleaned and repainted our pottery studio and the garage.

I am hoping all my projects will be finished by Thanksgiving. If everyone comes we will have 24 people and, hopefully, that will include classmate Cora Lemke and her caretaker Kibbie Hatfield.

We've enjoyed getting together with everyone at the classmate dinners and are looking forward to seeing everyone at Christmas time at Salem!
