I remember meeting Sandy at Covington Elementary School. She let me use her roller skates during recess. She was so friendly and kind. I also remember what a great basketball player she was in Jr. High as well as high school. So sadden to hear of her passing. At the 50th Class Reunion, we had a brief conversation about our dads.

I didn't know Sandy that well in school but always liked her. When Jim & I moved back to Covington Jim met and enjoyed Mr. Naijjar and got involved in Community Theater along with Sandy, Mr. King and Sandy's brother, Barry. I got better acquainted with Sandy during that time and over the last several years we would occasionally meet for lunch.
It was interesting to talk over school memories and hear things from her perspective. She also told about how her dad, as a lawyer, was often paid in chickens or eggs for his services back then. Sandy was a kind, sweet person and we'll miss her.
