Following high school, I went to Iowa State University where I met my husband, Kirk. We were married in 1996 and settled in his home town of Des Moines. We moved to Lincoln, NE for three years, then came back to Des Moines at the beginning of 2002. I worked in the insurance industry and also as an office manager at a church. We had our 1st son, Brett in October 2002 and our 2nd son, Kyle in January 2007. I have been a stay-at-home mom since returning to Iowa. It is a great job which I highly recommend!
