I'm still working as a nurse anesthetist at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln and plan to work for another couple years, although the thought of retirement is getting more appealing all the time. Kristine works for Commerce Bank in Kansas City. Alyssa married Joe Stivrins last September and works for Avila Architecture and Design in Berkely, CA. I wish they all lived closer, but we have great places to visit!
We love travelling, I sing and play flute in the church choir, and I like to take baking classes at SECC. Someday, when I grow up, I might be a pastry chef.
2020
I retired from nurse anesthesia in 2016. I work with my neighbor in her gas station Indian restaurant. We only serve on Fridays, so it is an ideal, fun job! We now have a one year old grandson, whom with Covid 19, we don't get to see nearly enough. My mother passed away suddenly last summer, a day after mowing 10 acres on riding mower. Hope to have a similar passing many years in the future. Covid 19 has been a big inconvenience to all ours lives, wear a mask, social distance, and stay healthy!
2022
After a nasty bout with Covid in November 2020, had to quit my fun job in the Indian restaurant. Ended up being on oxygen for 10 months. I'm doing so much better now and am grateful for every day I've been given. We enjoy travelling and make it out to Colorado every couple months to see our 3 yr old grandson and his parents.
