I am still doing bookkeeping in the painting business (29 years now), Jeffco Decorating Services, Inc. part-time and I also do the books for my husband's business, Ro-Bi Machine & Mfg. Co., Inc.
I decided to go to college after all these years and have been enrolled at Jefferson College since the fall of 2008. It's amazing how much you appreciate what you could've had (just going to college and living off your parents) and what you are actually doing (going to college, working, taking care of kids, being active in school activities and sending kids to college so they can live off you.)
They won't realize how easy they have it til they hit the real world!
I am trying to keep up with everything and keep my sanity. With Brittany only starting 1st grade this year, I have a long road ahead and am looking for that magic potion that will keep me young! I am the President of Jefferson R-7 PTO, chair of the Herky Project Prom Committee, going to the boys' football games twice a week, trying to keep my house clean, trying to maintain a 3.5 gpa and trying to stay ahead of the game.
Mike and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary on the 1st of October. We are hoping to have a nice long vacation sometime in the future when time allows.
