Such sad news. I remember Linda always smiling, friendly, bubbly. So many years ago, but seems like yesterday. My sympathy and many prayers to Linda's family and good friends, like Mary Jo, who were lucky enough to stay in touch with Linda over the years. God bless.

Very sad. Linda was always happy and cheery. She lived across from me on Everett Avenue, next door to Normie. As I recall, Linda was a nurse like her mom, who helped my mom one day when she was pounding on her front window – at me; I was doing something I shouldn’t have been doing – and she broke through and cut her wrist. Linda’s mom came to the rescue. Tough to lose one of the Everett Street Gang. I can see Linda’s smile.

Dickie..

Yup, as Dickie said, Linda was all about giggles and grins.  Can almost  hear her laughter in grade school and in the "Hood" Even though she was a member of the nefarious Everett Street Gang, (Along with Normie Lambert, Jeannie Tatman, Rusty (Duncan) Hanley, Mucky Meyer) and Patty Madsen), I believe her membership was "Honorary" as the only harm she could do was maybe make your sides hurt from laughing!  Linda you will be missed.  May God Bless.

Though Linda may no longer be with us in the flesh, she will always be in the heart of the many of us she touched, her perpetual smiles and giggles, kindness, and friendship would always bring a smile of happiness to others.  A more positive person have I rarely met.  Throughout the years we stayed in touch, she always had a kind word of support for my adventures, uplifting my spirit.  No matter what life dealt her, Linda stayed optimistic, she was like the rainbow after a storm.  Now, God has called her to be one of his angels.

Always happy, always smiling and giggling.  She will be our bright star looking down on all of us.  Rest in Peace and may the Perpetual Light shine upon you.

As everyone has commented, what I remember the most about Linda is giggles & a perpetual "dimpled" smile.  Rest  in Piece Linda.

I can't remember the year Linda became a part of the "Everett Street" gang but I do remember her beautiful smile and giggle.  We girls of the gang (me, Patty Madsen, Kathy Dahl and probably a few of our sisters) spent many hours playing on front porches with our Muffie dolls, making leaf houses and probably fighting with Dicky Schneider, Normie Lambert and Rusty Handley.  My sympathy goes out to her family.  She will be missed.

My family moved to Crystal Lake the summer of 1956.  Linda was my first friend here.  We were both only children and she was quick to become my friend.  As so many of our classmates have already said, the thing we will always remember will be her beautiful personality, her smiles and infetious giggles.  I'm so glad you were able to join us at the 45th reunion Linda.  We will miss you this year.

Linda lived across the street from me on Dole Avenue when we were in kindergarten. I also remember that her mom was a nurse. We used to play "doctor" up in her bedroom (only in the nicest way). It's sad to think that she's not here any more.

In great sadness I see that we have lost yet another classmate. Linda's great smile and infectious laughter was always great! She was always a lot of fun and kept everyone laughing, My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family and friends.  She was truly a special person.
