Attention Deficit Disorder? Posted Tuesday, June 16, 2009 02:14 AM That last line of my last post on the Tea Bag Forum conjoured up another discussion topic - Attention Deficit Disorder or other "Syndromes"! Could that generate any fun banter? I hope our class clowns Nan and Wink will join us on this one to keep this light! Thank God I never knew about this "syndrome" when I was a kid or I might not have made it this far through my life! I discoverd it when someone thought my entrepreneurial son had it in high school and I found out I supposedly did! Ha! Looking back at my life, I'm sure there are many funny stories that I could relate to this but will have to think about it. Can anyone provide some?

It is a shame that labels have to be placed on kids just because they are individuals. Our class is full of insightful, energetic and creative people. Most of which today would have been considered disruptive and then labelled A.D.D. These people that come up with these labels should spend more time teaching rather than thinking up disorders to explain why a child is different. Jennifer |

RE: Attention Deficit Disorder? Posted Tuesday, June 16, 2009 10:12 PM This subject is like talking abotu politics; impossible unless you look into motives. Again one of the most powerful lobbies is the drug companies. Mental illness was created after WW II and was very lucrative not just for the Psyches but for theirs support groups. Since there is absolutely no scientific evidence for any of the tens of thousands of syndroms. The claims are equally fraudulant and never have produces a cure. The profession was 1st devepoped as an afront on religion. Bismark the Chancellor of Germany supported the souless psuedo science because soldiers found it less apprehensible to kill if the man he was killing was a souless animal. Realizing the severity of the problem of these labels like bi-polar can only be fully realized when you speak of the horrific treatments that are offered as a cure for such "diseases." Anyone cramming for an exam in school might have taken speed to enhance memory and performance. There is some workability in small doses however continued and frequent use deteriots the person rapidly. Ritaln a favorite prescribed among children is speed or amphetamine. There are 25,000,000 children on drugs in school. The ramifications should be apparent with the literacy disgracefully low and students on these medications shooting up the schoolos and killing students as in Columbine, The Texas Tower sniper, Timothy Mc Viegh, John Hinkley, Suran Suran, Hitler and Bin Laden's right hand man also a Psych. The documentation in this area and the unscrupulous practices are a matter of record. Nothing I write here is conjecture. The statistics speak loudly in every area where the Psychiatry is involved. Volumes could be written on tis area however for the purpose of the blog I ask the reader to minimally look and see if there is any area whether it be courts or human mental health, schools etc where there has been improvement as a result of application of the subject being applied. The subject was embraced and supported by governments because it is a subject of controlling individuals and that is the soul prupose. Hypnosis, drugs, electric shock, all are attempts at this and the fact is they are not very good at it. When we went to school we were hit or slapped and other uses of pain which is far more humane then to drug the child into submission and render him dull and stupid as drugs do.

RE: Attention Deficit Disorder? Posted Thursday, July 9, 2009 09:47 PM Hey Paul, I think that gut over belt thing is a conspiracy, they're just making pants these days that shrink so you have to buy more. My abs are fine, a good 12 pack, I'm not really sure what my toes are doing, they don't make mirrors like they used to either. Spread the word. |

RE: Attention Deficit Disorder? Posted Friday, July 10, 2009 01:31 PM Never thought that THAT might be a conspiracy but there's so many others going on right now, I guess that could be one too!
