Yes you are correct - a visitior IS pretty much free to roam most parts of the site. We could password protect the whole site but we wanted to leave it open so clssmates cold find us.  but individual Profiles CAN be protected. To do so:

1. Go to Edit Profile under the Member Functions link on the left menu bar.

2. Scroll all the way to the bottom. You will see three check boxes, the first being Profile Visibility. Check this box if you do not want your Profile to be generally readable to the general public on the internet. If you don't care, leave it unchecked.

many thanks for your follow up.  I have no issues other than it has been interesting to log into the site with your super secret login and P/W yet can see most with just a simple google.

It was Great to see you at the reunion and catch up.
