Karen passed away in Arizona in the spring of 2003 from a lung ailment - apparetly Black Lung Disease.

Karen lived in Crystal Lake for most of her life. She was married in May, 1974, lived in Roselle during her marriage which ended in divorce in the late 70's and she then returned to live in the Crystal Lake area. She alternated her residence between Crystal Lake and Arizona in the 90's and moved back to Arizona the year prior to her passing.
