Greg was such a good friend in high school.I remember sneaking him a bottle of beer for his birthday once!

Lots of memories of Greg but one of the most remarkable was when we blew up a tree house in the vacant lot behind his house with a stolen firework that they used to ignite around the perimeter of the fireworks site at Veterans acres on the Fourth of July. Amazing anyone lived through the theft let alone the tree house explosion!

I remember playing cards with Greg and Charlie Boss a few years after High Schoo. The game was gut. If you've played it the stakes can get quite high. Charlie and I owed over $5,000.00 and Greg begrudgingly forgave the debt. Knowing Greg there are probably many stories good and bad that can be told. There was much more to Greg than a bunch of stories and wild nights. The one I wish I could tell was that I helped him see his potential. So many in this "memories" area I suspect dropped the body not because they lived too much life but that they never learned to live life. If anyone knows how, when and where etc. it would help me. I always felt the undercurrent of great decency with Greg. I am certain he found what he was looking for...Thanks for letting me know you.

Greg was a fun loving guy in HS. We had several classes together. Greg made some bad choices as an adult and hung with the wrong crowd. He had a monkey on his back being drugs that did not do his health any good. Very sad.

Greg was a great guy, and one of my best friends. We were together almost daily from 4th grade on. Towards the end of HS, I really wanted to get out of my house, which my Dad said I couldn't do until I graduated. Well Greg's mom Adelle said I was always welcome, and the day after I graduated I moved into their house. Greg and I lost touch a little when he moved to Pistakee, but after his mother's passing when he moved back home, we did reconnect, and it was like we hadn't lost any time at all. As Ger has said, Thanks Greg for letting me know you, I miss you, hell who couldn't miss going 120 mph in a canary yellow chevelle ss 396. That's how Greg lived his life.

Greg and I drove from Cl to Norfolk VA in eighteen hours so I could report in to my ship, pick up my leave papers, and turn around and drive back for two weeks of leave. That was Dec. 1970. He was a great friend and an unbelievable party animal.
