Ken died July 10th, 2003 from heart failure while visiting his mom one evening after work. He'd had heart related problems when he was in grade school but they had not resurfaced until this event.
Ken went to college and then taught at North Junior High School in Crystal Lake. He became an Air Traffic Controller in the early 80's and had married a wonderful woman prior to his passing.

Ken passed away on July 10th, 2003. Ken and I were best friends from Junior High thru High School and though we drifted apart later in life. I think of him often and remember all the crazy things we did together. Chemistry experiments gone wrong, homemade skateboards, sitting out late nights in the summer waiting for the house to cool off.Tom Farrell

Ken and I knew each other in high school but never really hung out together. Our paths cross after high school, after I got out of the Air Force and was back at school going to MCC and Ken was teaching at North Jr. High. We were both working at the YMCA as life guards. We decideded to go to Europe and spend six weeks travelling around. We shared many a beer and had a great adventure. Ken was a good man who was kind and always ready to have a good laugh. The last time I saw Ken he was married to a very nice lady and was starting a new job as an Air Traffic controler. It was quite a shock when I heard he pass away.
