Jim passed away May 23, 2020. He moved to Crystal Lake when he was in grade school and attended St. Thomas Catholic School. He graduated from Northern Illinois University. Jim and his wife, Mary Reichert, moved to Fort Meyers, Florida in 2006.

How sad to learn of Jim's passing. We were never able to get him to complete a Profile here so we don't know much about his life following high school. Jim and I went to St. Thomas together and we paled around during that time and in high school. What a fun guy. And his Mom was a great cook who often fed Jim's friends before we took off for some other event. Even though it's been a long time since we were together Jim, I'll miss the memories we shared all those years ago.

Yes, Jim was a fun guy to be around, and quite a shandout on the Cross Country team. I hope he had a terrific life. The last time I remember seeing him was when he hosted the bachelor party for Tom Winkle almost exactly 50 years ago. So, I guess it's time to wish Tom and Joan a Happy 50th!

I think I last saw Jim at our 10th reunion (not sure), but I think he played in the golf outing with the group. He was a great supporter of the class and he will surely be missed by us all.
