Went to MCC for a semester and a half, then started working. Worked for Pepsi in Elk Grove Village. Moved to Las Vegas in summer of 1996 to start photography career. Worked as an assistant to a great architecture/sports/studio photographer. In October, got to shoot a Bulls/ Sonics game from under the hoop, then got to shoot Tiger Woods winning his first tourney. Worked with him for about two years then did a short stint with Pepsi while my ex-wife was finishing her Teaching degree. After she graduated, went to work for a catalog/ still life specialist and then started my own business three weeks before 9/11. Not great timing but all has worked out. In 2002 we moved here to her hometown of Pryor, Oklahoma (35 minutes NE of Tulsa) and bought an existing photography studio. In December of 2004 I started as a volunteer firefighter and got on full time in January of 2008. It's been a blast. Wish I could come to the reunion, but already committed to photograph a wedding that day.
