Danny Miller
DANNY L. MILLER, 62 ROCKFORD - Danny L. Miller, 62, of Rockford passed away Thursday, Aug. 30,
2012, in his son's home. Born Sept. 25, 1949, in Elgin, the son of George and Barbara Miller. He was a
graduate of Crystal Lake Central High School, Class of 1967. Danny was a U. S. Army veteran of
Vietnam. He was employed as a log cabin builder and retired in 2008. Danny was a member of Our
Savior's Lutheran Church as well as the L.L.L. Club, and the Lombardi Club. He played semi-professional
baseball and tried out for the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed yard work and feeding the birds and critters.
Danny was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan. Danny loved holidays with his family and
was the family grill master. He enjoyed taking trips to Jacksonville, Fla., to visit his grandson, and going up north for
fishing trips. He is lovingly survived by children, Danny N. Jacqui Miller, Courtney N. Miller, Nicholas D. Miller and
Michael G. Miller; grandson, Kingston N. Miller; brother, William G. Jacquelyn Miller; sister, Sandi L. Scott Milbourn;
nieces, Lisa M. Jason Hackbarth and Katherine J. Milbourn; nephews, William G. Amber Miller and Jacob W. Milbourn;
and girlfriend, Julie A. Kosinski. Predeceased by parents, George and Barbara Miller. Memorial service at 10 a.m.
Thursday, Sept. 6, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service; Pastor Jeff Fricke will
