Amy Parker English

After high school, I moved to Mobile and attended the Univ. of South AL.

I met my husband in 1996. Our wedding was cancelled due to hurricane Georges in 1998. I always thought it was bad luck for it to rain on your wedding day but 10 years later, I guess it was good luck for us.

I worked in acounting for a travel agency for 8 years where we were able to travel and cruise to many exciting places.

In October of 2007, I was recruited to be the accounting manager for a company owned by Matt Roberts, the lead guitarist from 3 Doors Down. That has made for an interesting year.

Chip is a sports photographer. He does College football games, NFL football games, Talladega twice a year and local high school events year round. He is also the team photographer for the Arizona Diamondbacks AA team. Needless to say, he is always on the go.

My favorite memories are:

* Tracy Byrd's mom driving us to roll yards.
* Mine and Anna's trip to New York
* Practicing for Nationals 7 days a week.
* Working in the school store with Tracy Byrd, Kelly Bailey, Stephen Taylor, Stacy Widner and Ms. Scott.
* Mrs. Hunt's Algebra class in 9th grade. Anna and I passed notes to Richie Orton all the time.
* Mrs. Christopher's AP English class.
* Kelly, Tracy and I had never had a paddling in school before. So before we graduated, we got Mr. Raburn to paddle us....it hurt more that I thought it would.
* Tonya Wix had a spend the night party around 8th grade. We played "light as a feather" in her barn then went cow tipping.
* Dana Grimes and I broke into an abandoned house and then went into some lady's barn and got caught.
