Marsha Rawlinson Perkins

What have I been doing since 1978? Well...that's kind of a long story, but suffice it to say that my life today resembles nothing I imagined in 1978. I have milked cows, sold appliances, worked in banks and savings & loans, worked in several physician offices, even worked in Walmart for a short time, was a medical transcriptionist for about 20 years and worked in the admissions department at Rusk State Hospital and going to college to become a registered nurse. I am blessed to have 2 amazing boys, Joseph and Jared, and they are the lights of my life. It's hard to believe that so many years have passed since we were all wandering the hallowed halls of CHS.

Hmmm....let's see.....

Who remembers Mrs. Satterwhite's study notes and those notebooks we had to make every six weeks for 3 years? Or Mr. Neill walking through the parking lot and motioning us to get out of our cars? How about the pep rallies on Friday afternoons? And let's not forget the lasting fashion statements we made with our bell-bottoms and platform shoes? It MUST have been impressive because they are now, 30 years later, back in style!!!

I have lots of memories of Dear Old Cushing High School, most of them good ones, and treasure the years I spent there and the people I spent them with.
