School Story:
I look back on my years in high school and think I could have enjoyed it more. It seemed to be a matter of always trying to do something better, accomplish great things, and for me, not measuring up to what I had expected of myself. I defined myself by successes, and they were so much harder to come by then. It wasn't until I got to college and started to realize that it now was the greatest time in life. Then I got married and that was the greatest time in life. Then I had kids and that now became the greatest time in life. I have to tell you that it gets better all of the time. As I contemplate why this is so, I can only come to the conclusion that my relationship with God became stronger at each stage.
