High school seems like a distant memory now. I do remember getting my first ticket for riding my friend's moped on the opposite side of the street. I was so scared. Life was simpler then. I remember good friends that kept school fun and even the clicks we had back then to identify ourselves. Now all that doesn't matter.
I probably won't attend the reunion because we have had a busy year this year. Our youngest son got married, my husband and I went to Israel and I just recently went to Mexico with my mom to visit relatives. The year's not over and we still have events to attend and things to accomplish. I hope this reunion will be a blessing for all who attend. Not just for the accomplishments in life but for the joys in life as well.
I have been busy with our church Calvary Fellowship Buena Park. It is a fairly new church but we (my husband and I) are busy involved in worship, Sunday school and the prayer chain. (714)891 4464 ( just in case someone might need prayer). I can attest that the God of the Bible is alive and well today still doing miracles and I am privileged to be a part of His work. Truly I can say with all my heart, knowing and getting to know Jesus has been the MOST rewarding experiences of my life and in turn this relationship has taught me how to make the most out of my other relationships. It has been a challenge BUT the rewards are awesome and eternal.
Oh, I don't claim to have all the answers and I have made a lot of mistakes along the way and I will be the first to admit to them but even in my foolishness, I have learned invaluable truths and these truths never change. So I am grateful for this life and the JOY that I have been so blessed with.
Remember your identity isn't your accomplishments in life... that's just what you have been so gifted from God to do BUT it's who you know... that gives you your identity, Jesus. There's real security in that.
