I'm full time in college working towards my Associates in Graphic Imaging Design. I'm also studying photography. Currently working in a graphic design internship... learning more on the job than I ever did in a classroom. Also working on freelance projects.

I've been traveling quite a bit around the world and have been using my experiences throughout to pull together travel essays and illustrations... hopefully to be published in a book someday.

I've also begun taking a part in wedding planning/coordination which I thoroughly enjoy. (This is the year for weddings... I was invited to 8 in the month of March alone.) I spend my free time staying involved in politics, painting and drawing, blogging, spending hours at Starbucks, and volunteering in the community.

I was in a relationship for three years (2005 until last month). Its really strange being "single" again! But I feel very blessed. Once we both realized that it just wasn't the right timing, God began opening so many windows of opportunity. I'm inspired to accomplish so much in this one lifetime... never wasting a second.

Stories from EXCEL: There was one pocket slip of my messenger bag that I never got into until the last few weeks of EXCEL. I carried this bag with me every day, everywhere. When I was beginning to pack, I started cleaning out the bag and discovered my cell phone! I had forgotten all about it and had no idea that I had had that the entire two months. It was rather dead.

My best pal, Elizabeth Long, came to me one day during the first couple of weeks at EXCEL and told me that she overheard some other girls saying that I was rich and a democrat. Very far from the truth! I assure you. lol
