Greetings to all Skyline alumni!  I am proud to be the 11th principal of Skyline Center, “The Nation’s First Magnet.”  Skyline has a long-standing tradition of excellence in providing quality career and academic preparation to thousands of students each year.  Our current enrollment is nearing 5000 students, and each of them is receiving quality instruction and training just as all of you received when you were here beginning with the 1970-71 school year.  Our cluster programs continue to excel.  Skyline architecture students were recently honored with a display of their work at Northpark Center.  Man and His Environment students consistently win in mock trial competition.  Advanced Science cluster students are now in medical studies at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University.  Culinary Cluster students have gone on to study at the world renowned Culinary Institute of America.  This year Skyline proved it’s academic prowess by winning 1st place in the UIL District Academic competition.  And the list goes on and on.  Being a Raider where Columbia Blue and Scarlet run through your veins, you are part of a rich historical tradition, and I hope you continue to be proud of your alma mater, where “Unity in Effort-Pride in Result” is more than a motto, it’s a way of life.
