I got kicked out of school the week before spring break (so I got 2 weeks off when everyone else only got one :) because Tyler Allen and Steve Perez couldn't drink so much as a six pack without puking all over the Grand Prairie HS parking lot.

I'm thinking this incident, plus a few others, made Bradley Sue Howell reluctant to approve my original idea for the Salutatorian Address: Quoting the end of our school song "Here's a toast to thee" while holding up a glass of (albeit) non-alcoholic champagne.

I had to settle for using a piece of actual toast.
