Allen Gulledge

I have had a rich, full life. I've gotten to do things that as a child I could only dream about. Despite being married and divorced three times, I have found real love, while maintaining strong healthy relationships with the two exes who are Mothers to my children. After spending 35 years working in the media full-time, I finished the work phase of my career by raising money (they call you a Development Director) for the Union Gospel Mission, a faith-based homeless shelter here in Dallas. Having retired in July of 2014, I plan to devote much of my time to teaching and leading groups at my church Highland Park United Methodist as well as having time to catch up with friends I haven't seen nearly enough over the years. In 5 years my wife, Mary and I hope to retire to Santa Fe, New Mexico where we have purchased our "dream house."

I was socially awkward in high school, tried to overcome it by being a clown, got into my share of trouble and was nothing more than an average student. Over the years I have had an opportunity to research and speak to many of the people involved in the Assassination of President Kennedy. I will always think of that as the most important thing that happened during our senior year of High School. I also feel the Assassination triggered a series of events and cultural changes that our class experienced from the eye of the storm.
