We took a trip to Washington earlier this summer. I saw the
traveling Viet Nam Memorial years ago when it came to Alb.
It was emotional then and emotional again when I found
Billy Baer's name on the Wall. He was a good buddy. I remember our trip to California with Rick Rush. Billy died his dark hair blonde to fit in with the surfers. We only made it to Colorado and car troubles forced us back to Big D. The last time I saw him he came to the house in his Special Forces uniform before heading over seas. When I got out of the Army I remember Roy Panell & I think it was Gorden Kinney coming over to welcome me home. Roy I bet you wish you still had that 58 Chevy. Looking forward to seeing eveybody
