Oh my gosh...you guys are soooo funny! I guess I was too sky for Billy to notice me, but I sure noticed him! He was always good looking. Jimmy, your story about the moccasin has me in stitches...still!!! What a great childhood we all had. I went to Reinhardt so I DO remember Mrs Keeling and square dancing ?? and the cool outfits we got to wear to her dances! Does anyone remember the "little store" by the railroad tracks that we would pass walking to and from school? I think everything there cost a penny. Wow. Banana Bieks. Good to hear all your memories of Billy. I thank him for his service and sacrifice...I know all about that. I lost my husband in Viet Nam too, in 1969. I remember when we lost Billy. His Mom was at my baby shower just after it happened. I've seen his name on the wall too. Miss him.
Billy, We grew up together. You were in most all of my classes. I always thought you were so handsome. I met my husband in 1964 in college and we married in 1966. He was sent to Viet Nam in the Army and was killed in action July 13, 1969. I always felt like we had a common thread running through our lives. Your Mom came to my baby shower even though she was grieving your loss. I could see where your bravery came from. I love you both. Hope to see you in heaven.
Happy Birthday Bev!!! Hope you're doing well. You sure are looking great! Hope your day was beautiful and many more to come! Love, Trish

Happy Birthday on the 30th Betty!!! I have never forgotten our very first semester of our very first year as college roomates! Boy...did I ever get in TROUBLE for using charcoal on my 6 foot tall drawing hanging on the wall by our beds!!!!! I was a mess. I am sorry. Just all great memories for me!!! What a feeling to be on our own for the very first time. Can you say…"sheltered?" Those were definitely the best and happiest years of my life. Thank you for being a part of it with me! Have a wonderful b'day Betty!!!
