In Memory

Heather Denise Baker (Vigil)

Heather Denise Baker (Vigil)

Heather Denise (Baker) Vigil, 45, lost her battle with Type I Diabetes on May 23, 2015 in Garland, TX. She was born on January 26, 1970 to Donald and Dorothy (Wright) Baker in Dallas, TX.

Heather had great passion for many things during her short life. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, gardening (especially the plumeria trees she and Chris brought back from Hawaii when they lived there) and listening to Kenny Chesney. She loved going to the beach and traveled as much as she could. She was affectionately known as “Punkin”, “Sissy” and “Momma” to her family and quality time with them was something that was very dear to her heart. Heather was a great lover of pets and cared deeply for her poodles Reyna, Bubba and Marley and her cat, Peaches.

Preceding her in death are her grandfather Aaron Wright, grandson Grant Colwill and father-in-law Mike Vigil. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 25 years, Christopher Vigil; daughter Brittany Vigil; parents Donald and Dorothy Baker; brother Gary Baker with wife, Teresa; nephew Aaron Baker; niece Vanessa Baker; great-niece Haven Baker; granny Ethelene Wright; mother-in-law Colleen Vigil and brother-in-law Anthony Vigil, along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Her final resting place is in the Garden of Roses at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
